In honor of Catherine’s nuptials this weekend, I thought I would do a little round up of the @cathclaire favorite: Culottes! No matter the time of year, you can find Cath wearing her favorite pair of denim culottes, a dressier pair of black ones, or a chic version of a gaucho style (not sure this is the best way to put it, but hey, you get it). 
As we enter Catherine’s wedding week, naturally, we are revisiting some of our favorite moments from my wedding. We thought it would be fun to do a little round up of pieces inspired by my wedding, so we can do the same for Catherine once we get her photos back. I still love looking through my wedding photos and it’s always hard to choose my favorites. However, I will highlight a few favorite shots of the details, the bridesmaids dresses, the getting-ready gear and of course, the shoes, in case there are any bride-to-be’s out there looking for a little inspo or friends looking to remember the fun we had at The Homestead! If you’ve been following along with TCP for any amount of time, you know that Catherine and I love a good hotel stay. We’ve enjoyed staycations in Richmond and plenty of Fashion Week nights in countless hotels; so when we got the invite to come up to Washington, DC to stay at the Melrose Georgetown we jumped to the occasion! Amidst all of Catherine’s wedding prep (ten days out!) this was the perfect getaway for the two of us to gallivant around a city that isn’t our own, as we are want to do. (more…)
I have come to the conclusion that one of my “talents” (aka favorite past times) is the mere act of celebrating and I will use just about any excuse to do so. I am a lover of dance floors, birthdays, New Years, Halloween, and well… all holidays. That being said, yesterday was my birthday (May the Fourth be with you, too) and I quickly realized that everyone around me is hugely talented in the celebrating department as well. From my friends and family near and far, to ya’lls sweet messages, my fiancè, Reb, and Buddha the maltipoo – yesterday was surreal and that is just the beginning of, what I know will be, one of the best years of my life.
We owe it all to our Mamas! Show your love this Mother’s day with the perfect gift for that special woman in your life.

When it comes to navigating through the wonderuflness that is Forever 21, you either love it or hate it. I have been shopping there since I was 13 and several people have told me I am “good” at Forever 21, Reb included. A shopaholic-induced broke girl is kinda forced to be good at Forever 21, am I right?
