Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and with all of the stress in our lives right now, we could use a little something to celebrate. Whether you are celebrating yourself (treat yourself!), with your significant other or with friends or family, we could all use a little celebration of love this year.

We’ve got a few Valentine’s Day style posts coming up, and this first one is for those of you who plan on dressing up! It may not an epic date night out, but sometimes dressing up to stay home is just as fun. I know at the beginning of quarantine, we shared this idea but maybe it has been a while since you got all dolled up just to feel a little something. So, now is your chance! And here are some great dress ideas to make the evening a little more special.

The Festive Fit: If you are a gal who likes to dress the part on Valentine’s Day, rocking red and pink or maybe a dreamy printed dress, we’ve got some great options for you! The above fit is an all time favorite of mine, with Catherine rocking the red maxi at 9 months pregnant! There is something so striking about red that your significant other will truly appreciate 😉

The Black Dress Fit: You already know that here on The Crystal Press the black dress look is one that gets a lot of play. Like, all the play. When going back through the archives there were almost too many black dress outfits to feature here… Who am I kidding there’s no such thing! Whether you want to opt for a short black comfy number, or are more the dreamy maxi girl, we’ve found options for you! We know you guys probably don’t want to spend a ton of money this year on Valentine’s Day either, so these are all pretty affordable options!

It goes without saying that these dress ideas aren’t limited just to Valentine’s Day! Keep things interesting around the house or when you go out to eat at your favorite heated patio with a new dress.
