Most of the weddings I have attended in recent years happened to be ones where I was a bridesmaid. This meant that my get-up was chosen for me, or in collaboration with the bride, and I did not have to worry about that decision in the least! When my cousin Caitlin’s wedding rolled around last week, however, I was excited to try something new. I found these amazing pants at Zara while Catherine and I were in New York and knew instantly that I had to do something really cool with them.
The next step was to find either a crop or something equally as frilly to go with the pants. My mom helped me pick out this alice + olivia crop and I have to say it was perfect! (Not to mention, it’s on sale now!) The lace back detail really takes it to the next level and adds even more of an interesting touch to the look (in my humble opinion). Moral of this story? Don’t be afraid to branch out next time you have a wedding to attend! Try something new – its always fun to see people’s reactions 🙂 I’ve linked some fun pants below so go on and take a risk – you won’t regret it.
Top, alice & olivia (its on sale!) // Pants, Zara. (similar) // Sunnies, Quay Australia // Earrings, Adorn Monde (from TZR Box of Style!) // Bag c/o Theory. Ring, Ippolita.
