My new skincare routine with clean skincare brand Follain.

FOLLAIN REALLY KNOWS THE CLEAN BEAUTY GAME.

Follain was founded in 2013 with founder Tara’s mission to curate a store that sold clean beauty. Products with none of the bad stuff in them. She was on a mission to lead a clean lifestyle and along with eating clean, she was determined to do the same with the products she put on her body as well. She quit her corporate job and spent time researching the best beauty options for people and the planet! For years, they curated the shop with clean beauty brands like Herbivore Botanicals, ILIA, Indie Lee, OSEA and Ursa Major.

In addition to these fabulous brands, they also created their own clean skincare line. In addition to being free of toxins, cruelty-free and dermatologist tested, their in-house Follain line is affordable. I know for me, I have always wanted to indulge in the best options for my skin but that can be cost prohibitive. And they knew that. SO! This new routine that I have adopted is truly affordable and it works. I have seriously sensitive skin and have had trouble in the past finding an entire skincare line that works for me. I was excited to give Follain and chance and even more excited when each of the products worked for me.

Here is my current skincare routine with Follain:

HYDRATING CLEANSER – This creamy gel cleanser cleanses the skin without drying it out. It is a refreshing start to my day and perfectly removes makeup at night.

INDIE LEE BRIGHTENING CLEANSER – I alternate the Follain cleanser with this amazingggggg product. It makes my skin SO SO soft and it smells amazing. The combo of the two has my skin seriously soft and hydrated even during the winter.

ULTRA HYDRATING MASK – If you have dry skin like me, especiallyyyyy during the winter, this is a must! I obviously do not use it after cleansing each time, but I have been using it once or twice a week during these dry winter months. You can leave it on for just 20 minutes, or if you are like me, you can leave it on for a few hours and forget, getting that extra hydration 🙂

TONING MIST – This refreshing, hydrating mist balances your skin between cleansing and moisturizing!

MOISTURIZER – Replenish & Protect – This lightweight moisturizer deeply hydrates your skin without feeling heavy. A little goes a long way with this super-product and it also acts a great primer for makeup. Plus, it is clinically proven to help prevent fine lines and wrinkles (!!!!) I have to say, I was honestly surprised at how well this moisturizer worked. Make sure to apply when your skin is still a little damp from spritzing with Toner Mist for best results.

EYE CREAM – Because at this age, I will do anything to help brighten my under eyes! This firming and brightening eye cream is formulated especially for the sensitive skin under your eyes and actively works to help depuff and energize.

Like I mentioned earlier, Follain started out as a clean beauty store that carried only the bestttttt products out there! I have used and love a handful of other products that they carry. Here are a few favorites:

PAI Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil – I fell in love with this oil the first time I applied it. It soothes, brightens and repairs your skin and you only need a few drops.

TAMMY FENDER ROSE WATER – I am a sucker for Rose Water spray. I loveeee a spritz anytime of a day for a little pick-me-up. When Follain sent me this one, I was thrilled to try something new! It is truly refreshing, acts as the perfect toner and make-up setting spray. Well worth the price tag.

INNERSENSE I Create Waves – I rarely use heat on my hair to style, so I just need something to create texture and try to keep the waves in my hair active. I loveeeee this one from Innersense!

OSEA Undaria Algae Body Oil: An employee at Follain suggested I try this for my growing belly to help prevent stretch marks and it is AMAZING. It has made my skin so, so soft. Would recommend for anyone to use.

OSEA Anti-Aging Body Balm: This is also a brilliant product from Malibu-inspired brand OSEA. I have been using this on my dry, wrinkly hands this winter and can already tell a difference.

Herbivore Coco Rose Body Polish: I LOVE Herbivore and this has been a favorite product of mine for a while. Exfoliants and hydrates, leaving skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

Herbivore Detox Bath Salts: The Eucalyptus and Lavendar are the ultimate calming ingredients in these bath salts. Great for some relaxing me-time.

ILIA Lip Balm: I love a good lip balm that actually hydrates with a bit of color and this ILIA one has been a go-to for a while now. Highly recommend. If you are looking for clean makeup, ILIA has lots of reallyyyyy great options.
