Fall in New York City is positively vibrant. Not only was the marathon going on the day after Halloween but the leaves were beautiful and I took time to notice all the pretty details everywhere we went. This was my fourth time in the city this year so it was great to look at familiar places in a new way, through a new lens – literally. From the Central Park Zoo to the Plaza Food Hall, the grizzly bears were lively and majestic and the chandeliers shown bright. Scroll away to observe for yourself.
^ Fall looks good on you, Saks Fifth Avenue ^The Plaza Champagne Bar is a dream come true and a must-do if you feel like paying for luxury! I had to sip on Veuve Cliquot and watch the hustle and bustle on Fifth Avenue from the window while my husband enjoyed a fully-garnished Bloody Mary.
We found this lovely little French corner of the Plaza Food Hall, Vin Sur Vignt and I just died over the decor. The bagel and lox weren’t bad either 🙂 If you can’t be in a Parisian cafe, this felt like the next best thing!
The Grand Hyatt was the perfect place for this occasion. Marathoners, Mets fans and Halloween party-goers filled the lobby and the bar and made for such an interesting stay! I love the view of Grand Central Station from the pristine granite, white and blue bar.
