Planning a wedding has brought an entirely new meaning to the phrase fashionably late. I am the most fashionably late person I have ever met, but mix that with the year of a wedding and you’re looking at a lot of things not getting done.
But you know what, it’s okay. I got caught up in dwelling on the overwhelming to-do lists despite my meditating (as much as a monk, according to my dapper fiancè pictured above) and luckily had Rebecca, who has already been married (see her beautiful pics from J + D Photography here), as a part of my dream team to pull me out of it. Weddings are supposed to be a happy time – letting it become anything other than that because you get a wrench thrown in your plans 4 months out (or something) is no reason to think anything otherwise.
It’s one event on what I’m sure will be a beautiful day in May, but the point is: I get a lifetime with the man of my dreams. That sure is something to dwell on and be happy about, dontcha think?
Speaking of things to be happy about, happy new year from the future Mr. & Mrs! We weren’t going to send out save the dates but I couldn’t resist these happy new year cards from Minted. I’ll link some of my other favorite designs at Minted below!
Special thanks to Minted for sponsoring this post and to my dream team for keeping me sane. xo Cath
